Bobcat Sighting In Lake Elsinore

Local resident Harvey Ryan of International Auto Crafters reports that a bobcat has decided Hunco Way in Lake Elsinore is his (or her?) terrritory.

The wild cat was spotted around 2:30 p.m. and is still hanging out, Ryan said via email.

"Looks like it is hunting -- goes back and forth from the field behind us to the street and walks around in the open sidewalk and streets seemingly without fear," Ryan wrote.

Bobcats are not a threat to humans, but if you live near the area and keep backyard chickens or rabbits, beware! Those critters could become kitty food.
