Lake Elsinore Woman Killed In Riverside Crash

A Lake Elsinore woman died early Wednesday morning after she lost control of the truck she was driving and collided with a tree in Riverside.

Marla Iriarte, 28, died at the scene at approximately 4:30 a.m. today, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office has announced.

The deadly crash was reported on Riverwalk Parkway, just south of Pierce Street. Iriarte lost control of the pickup and struck a tree in the center divide, the coroner’s office reported. She was wearing a safety belt and was not ejected, according to the coroner’s office.

The crash was reported at 4:20 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
