LEUSD Students 94 Percent Compliant With Vaccine Law

officials are reporting that 94 percent of all their students are now compliant with state law requiring that seventh through 12th graders are vaccinated against whooping cough.

“District wide, 623 students still need to become compliant with the Tdap booster shot. LEUSD will sponsor a final Tdap booster shot clinic on August 31st at Elsinore High School (TBA). Our goal is 100 percent compliance by August 31st,” said Steve Behar, director of child welfare and attendance for the district.

Mark Dennis, coordinator of community and media relations for the LEUSD, said he will furnish details about the Aug. 31 shot clinic once they become available.
