Missing Sedco Hills Girl Found Safe
Paige Guzman was missing for about two hours Wednesday morning in Sedco Hills before being found at a neighbor's home.
Sheriff's deputies, assisted by helicopter crews, searched for a 5-year-old girl reported missing Wednesday in Sedco Hills, but the child was found safe at a neighbor's home.
Paige Guzman was reported missing from the area of Wildomar Road and Olive Street in Sedco Hills.
Sheriff's officials said the child was reported missing about 11:30 a.m. and was found at 12:29 p.m.
The neighbor, Rosa Soth, told Patch that Paige had come over to her home about 10:30 a.m., and when she saw that the little girl's mother was not at home, she took her to a local store.
Soth said she was on her way out to Wal-Mart and saw the child standing by her vehicle; the little girl told Soth her mother was not home, the neighbor said.
"I was trying to help the children," said Soth, who told Patch that there are two boys in the family as well.
Soth said the family is struggling to make ends meet.

This story is ridiculous. Ms. Soth made a HUGE error in judgement and Ms. Guzman should not have let her five year old be out on the streets.

Maybe lil Paige got tired of playing in her own backyard. Rocks and dirt and a delapitated chainlink fence are only fun for a while.
