UPDATE: On March 29, 2011, Lake Elsinore Police Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 16000 block of Grand Avenue, Lake Elsinore. At that time, officers located a victim of a stabbing at the location. The juvenile victim was transported to a local hospital with a stab wound to his back. The investigation was turned over to the Lake Elsinore Investigations bureau that later identified Rudy Allen Cline as a suspect. On December 14, 2011, an arrest warrant for attempt murder for Cline was issued. Bail was set at $1,000,000.

Over the past several weeks officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department have been actively searching for attempted murder suspect Rudy Allen Cline. Cline is a 19-year-old Lake Elsinore resident. On Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 3:29 P.M., a Lake Elsinore Police officer saw Cline was a passenger in a tan-colored truck driving in the area of Lincoln Avenue. As the officer got behind the truck at Lincoln Avenue and Robin Drive, Cline jumped out and fled into a nearby apartment complex with the officer in foot pursuit. The officer gave chase on foot through several apartment complexes before apprehending Cline in an apartment complex in the 32200 block of Riverside Drive.

Cline was transported to the Southwest Detention Center and booked for an attempted murder warrant.

Details:

On 03-29-11, at approximately 1400 hours, Lake Elsinore officers responded to Marie Drive and Grand Avenue in reference to a stabbing. Four juveniles were walking along Grand Avenue, when a gray or silver BMW, occupied by three suspects, drove past the juveniles then turned around and parked in front of them. Two suspects exited the car, one with a knife, and one with a bat. The suspects then assaulted the juveniles. During the assault a fourteen year old victim was stabbed in the back. The driver pulled out a small black handgun and fired toward the victims from inside the car. The suspects jumped back into the car and fled the area. None of the victims were shot. The victims received minor injuries except the fourteen-year-old. He sustained a moderate stab wound and was transported to the hospital.

Suspects are described as:

  • Driver – White male in his 20's, clean shaven, tattoos on his neck, wearing a black t-shirt.
  • Suspect 2 – Hispanic male adult unknown age, 5’09”, clean shaven, medium build, tattoos on both inner forearms in cursive, wearing a white tank top and colored jeans.
  • Suspect 3 – Hispanic male 18 years, 5’06”, medium build, wearing a black hat with white lettering and a white t-shirt.

Felony Warrant and Drug Possession Arrest

Details:

On January 31, 2012, at 11:20 PM, officers went to a residence located in the 15000 block of Lake Terrace Drive in an effort to locate a wanted felon identified as Danny I. Rabadi. Upon announcing their presence at the front door, the Mr. Rabadi fled out the rear door and was quickly detained by perimeter officers. During a search of his person incident to arrest, Mr. Rabadi was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug related paraphernalia. He was later booked at the Southwest Detention Center, located in French Valley.
