Weekend Crash Claims One Deputy
Daniel Aguilar, 27, died early Sunday after an accident at the Lincoln Avenue and Harrington Street intersection in Corona.
A deputy from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department succumbed to injuries he received in a weekend traffic accident.
Daniel Aguilar, 27, died early Sunday after an accident at the Lincoln Avenue and Harrington Street intersection in Corona.
The accident was reported at 11:19 p.m. Saturday; Aguilar was pronounced dead at 12:01 a.m. at Corona Regional Medical Center.

Aguilar, who lived in Corona, was off duty at the time of the crash, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
He was stationed at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
