Rak Chazak Amats!
I initially titled this blog, "A Beggar's Perspective". However, I've chosen to rename it after my life's calling. Read below and you'll understand...but you've got to watch the video to get the full message.
You can call it a Resolution, Goal, or Aspiration. Whatever it may be, I will adhere to my CALLING. I am called by God to spread the gospel. I am called to minister to those who don’t have an understanding of what I have been given. I am to live out Matthew 28:19-20. But with this calling comes tremendous responsibility. There are many Christians who are choosing mediocrity. They have chosen to accept the free gift of salvation and do nothing with it. They don’t speak up, they don’t live for Christ, and it’s apparent in their lukewarm lifestyle. I referred to this in another post entitled “So Much to say yet nothing’s communicated”. Too many are choosing NOT to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. They simply are content to call themselves “Christian”, but completely ignore the action involved in following Jesus Christ.
This is why I’ve decided to re-ignite my blog with this new theme and title, “Rak Chazak!” It comes from a video that was passed on to me. I would estimate that I have watched/listened to it about 50 times. It never gets old. It only continues to spur me on to my calling as a Christian.
