Elsinore Woman's Club Conservation Group visited Waste Management facility as a field trip. We as a group never knew how much detail and conservation goes into a dump site and the amount of trash is collected. Our host, Lily, showed a slide show regarding the dump site and the acres set aside for wildlife. Waste Management keeps track of local vegetation, animals and extinct species. It was fascinating and an enlighting experience. We took the information back to our Club to share with the members to make them aware of how they can manage waste and recycle in their homes.

I so agree, other towns will string plastic banners across busy intersections to announce community…Read More events that are taking place in there towns. Our town does not post banners, signage or anything to make everyone aware, isn't this the job of the Chamber of Commerce to promote tourism????
