'All Heck Breaking Loose' With Coyotes In Lake Elsinore Neighborhood

A local resident has asked that Lake Elsinore neighbors be warned about coyotes in the area that are feasting on family pets.

"Several coyotes have taken up 'residence' in the large field area at the end of Mountain Street (over by Rice Canyon) and the hills back there," a Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Patch Facebook user wrote.

"All heck broke loose" Christmas Eve night involving the wild animals and a dog, the poster continued.

"And they got someone's cat a few days ago. Please, everybody living in and around the Lake Terrace Subdivision watch your pets!"

In 2012, a Lake Elsinore family also warned of coyotes in their McVicker Canyon neighborhood. Click here to read about the attack on their dog.
