CITIZEN REPORTER: Tuscany Hills Sink Hole Caused By Water Main Break

A street rupture in Tuscany Hills was caused by a water main break, resident reports.

A local resident is reporting that water service in Tuscany Hills was briefly interrupted Monday as crews from Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District worked to repair a main break.

“EVMWD had water service restored to Tuscany residents in about an hour after they rerouted the water around an under-street rupture in a plastic water main. The break is in the slow lane on Summerhill Drive about 50 yards past the Tuscany Hills waterfall as you enter the residential section of Tuscany Hills,” Dan Baldwin reported.

“The EVMWD crew I spoke to said that repairs should be complete within 24 hours. During the repairs, traffic on both sides of the hole on Summerhill Drive will be slowed to just one lane in each direction,” Baldwin reported.
