Easter Egg Hunts Scheduled In Lake Elsinore

Mark your calendars for March 16 and March 30.

Two Easter egg hunts are being promoted in Lake Elsinore this year.

Rosetta Canyon's Home Owners Association and Social Committee are having their annual Spring Egg Hunt event on March 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and it’s open to the public.

A magician show, DJ, free interactive games, free arts and crafts, free body glitter artist, free face painting, a balloon artist, and 10,000 eggs for children of all ages will be featured, according to resident Luis Padilla.

Families are asked to bring their own baskets.

A free Easter egg hunt is also scheduled at McVicker Canyon Park March 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The park is located at  29355 Grand Ave in Lake Elsinore.

According to the City of Lake Elsinore website, the schedule for this event is as follows:

10 a.m.  Kids ages 1 to 8 years will try to find their share of 8,000 candy-stuffed eggs.

10:30 to 12:30 The Easter Bunny is on site for pictures.

11 a.m. Puppet show.

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Children's Fair will feature free activities that include live entertainment, bouncers and food.
