Locals can donate new, unwrapped toys to the Temecula CHP office or one of several drop-off locations.

Temecula Area California Highway Patrol officers kicked off their annual toy drive this week.

Southwest Riverside residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys through Dec. 20 to the Red Robin or the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, or Walgreens locations in Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore and Menifee.

The toys will be distributed among local charities, according to the CHP.
