Rain Through The Weekend, Forecasters Report

Rain showers and cooler temperatures are predicted in Southwest Riverside County through Monday, according to weather officials.

Across the area, the National Weather Service reports a 70 percent chance of showers on Thursday. The rain is expected to taper off as the weekend wraps up, but sunny skies are not in the forecast again until Tuesday, according to the NWS.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to reach the mid to low 60s through the weekend, while overnight temperatures will drop to the mid 40s, according to the NWS's forecast for the Southwest Riverside County area.
