The most critical fire weather will be Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Strong, gusty winds and low humidity over the region have prompted a Red Flag Warning by the National Weather Service.

As of 3:25 a.m. Nov. 5, the NWS is reporting the warning remains in effect through 6 p.m. Tuesday across the Inland Empire.

A wind advisory has also been issued across the region. Winds are forecast to blow out of the north, northeast at 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph and isolated gusts up to 60 mph, mainly near the coastal foothills, according to the agency.

Humidity will drop to around 20 percent after sunrise today, and down to 10 to 15 percent by late morning; the humidity level could be as low as 8 percent later in the day, the NWS is reporting.

The most critical fire weather will be this afternoon, according to the agency.

Overnight the winds will weaken, but humidity will remain low with “very dry” conditions forecast Wednesday and Thursday, the NWS is reporting. Warm, sunny weather is expected through the week, with daytime highs reaching 74 degrees Tuesday and peaking at 86 degrees on Thursday in Lake Elsinore, according to the agency.
