School District Board Member Retires After 24 Years

Jeanie Corral will retire next month after serving on the Governing Board since 1988.

After serving the Lake Elsinore Unified School District for more than 24 years, Jeanie Corral is about to retire, leaving behind her name and legacy.

“I’ve always considered public education such a gift,” Corral said. “I just thank God I was in a place where I could attempt to make a difference for the betterment of children's educational experience.”

Corral’s involvement with the school district dates to 1974, when she began playing for middle school and high school musicals.
