Where to Get Sandbags in Lake Elsinore

There are several locations in town where residents can pick up free sand bags as the storm continues.

The following was provided by the city of Lake Elsinore: 

Heavy rains are expected throughout the weekend. Residents can find sand bags at the following locations: 

  • City Public Works Yard (521 North Langstaff Street)
    • Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    • Up to 10 free sand bags per resident.
    • Bring a shovel and an ID or utility bill for proof of residency. 
  • City Fire Stations
    • McVicker Park, Lake Elsinore, Rosetta Canyon and Canyon Hills. 
    • Available any time. Limited to 10 free sand bags, sand not provided.
  • Lakeland Village Fire Station (Station 11)
    • Available any time. Limited to 10 free sand bags.
