On Wednesday, multiple reports (and photos!) came in about a dust devil whirling in the mountains above Lake Elsinore.
Now Friday a report is coming out of The Farm in Wildomar about a fierce wind burst that blew through neighborhood shortly after 3 p.m.
According to today’s citizen report, the Wildomar wind ripped a for sale sign off its post, caused a spare tire to be uplifted about 200 feet into the air, and played havoc with at least one roof top.
The National Weather Service has this forecast for the area: Mostly cloudy conditions through Friday evening with a heat warning through tonight, clearing to sunny skies Saturday with continued hot temperatures.
At press time, the wind is blowing out of the northwest at 13 mph.
The central portion of the county is under a flash flood warning through 4:45 p.m. Friday afternoon as thunderstorms continue to threaten due to a tropical depression over the area.
