Wildomar Masquerade Senior Prom

A Masquerade Senior Prom to reach out to 200 Seniors is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Wildomar and the Lake Elsinore Interact Club.  Interactors and Rotarians want our Seniors to know they are an important part of our community.  For the Prom, Interactors have already received approval to get their prom dresses and jackets from Elsinore High School.  Interactors will also be making the invitations, announcements, masquerade masks, decorations, and two DJ will play 30’s, 40’s and 50’s music, set up and tear down and volunteer to do make-up for the ladies.  The Senior Citizens director, Bonnie Osting, is coordinate prom dresses for the senior ladies and men.  Rotarians will also come dressed in formal attire for the Prom and will be bringing food and drinks.  We want this Prom celebration to give the Seniors a life changing experience.   Rotarians and Interactors build partnerships and share in the joy of filling the hearts of seniors with friendships.  Through this partnership, Interactors will learn how to respect and honor their elders. Youth will gain knowledge of planning and budgeting for future successful events.  Together we will demonstrate the power of Rotary through service by, imparting a spirit of joy, fellowship and lifting the countenance of Seniors to feel fulfilled, valued and significant.   Seniors will be involved in crowning a King and a Queen.  Each senior will be  photographed and presented with their photo to take home from the prom.    There will be 200 masks made.
