Holding court at the museum are several longtime residents – some serve on the Historical Society board, others just come by to chew the fat around an old kitchen table that’s centrally situated in the museum.

Historical Society President Ruth Atkins is always available when the museum is open, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
