TRAFFIC ALERT: Motorcyclist Down On Ortega Highway

UPDATE AT 9:08 p.m.: The California Highway Patrol confirmed the road has been cleared.

ORIGINAL POST: A motorcyclist has gone down on Ortega Highway and traffic is slow, a fire official has confirmed.

The crash was reported at 8:21 p.m. on the state route near Grand Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann did not have specific information on the motorcyclist’s condition at press time.

Eastbound traffic on the Ortega appeared to be slowly moving; westbound traffic was jammed, she said.
