Summer Rain Dampens Lake Elsinore, Wildomar

No rain is forecast through the rest of the week locally, but high heat remains.

Summer rain in Lake Elsinore and Wildomar Wednesday will continue through the morning, but the chance of precipitation will decrease as the day wears on, according to forecasters.

Mild morning temperatures and cloudy skies will give way to rapid warming and sunnier skies by afternoon, the National Weather service is reporting.

The daytime high is expected to reach 94 degrees in Lake Elsinore, with humidity remaining at nearly 30 percent even after the rain stops this afternoon, and then increasing overnight to more than 60 percent, the NWS is reporting.
