What's Happening At The Elsinore Naval and Military School on Grand Avenue?

Volunteers are lending their time to help make Lake Elsinore a prettier place to live.

Saturday's turnout that began at 8 a.m. is Residents, city officials and local leaders turned out to haul trash and spruce up the area around the

, EcoPlanet, Lake Elsinore Rotary Club, CR&R Waste Services, the , and the to name a few, were scheduled to help pitch in.

But mostly, the program is relying on residents to lend a hand, and future Clean Extreme events are still awaiting volunteer signups.

“We want the community to take ownership,” said Lake Elsinore City Manager Bob Brady.
