Bigger Lake Elsinore Stater Bros. To Open Feb. 22

For loyal Stater Bros. customers who have been awaiting the opening of the new, bigger store on Mission Trail, the date is here.

The new store will open at 32281 Mission Trail in the Lake Elsinore Town Center on Feb. 22.

The supermarket will replace a smaller Stater Bros. at 31952 Mission Trail, which will close on Feb. 21.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled in the new store’s parking lot at 8:15 a.m. on opening day, and doors will open for business at 9 a.m.

After the opening, the new 43,279-square-foot Stater Bros. will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The new store is more than 76 percent bigger than the old location and will feature double the amount of parking, according to the company.

A meat department, seafood section, deli, produce department, hot bakery, and floral department are being included at the new store, according to the company. Additionally, the store will feature a full-service U.S. Bank, as well a recycling center for paper and plastic grocery bags.

“This new Lake Elsinore Stater Bros. supermarket demonstrates Stater Bros.' commitment to the Lake Elsinore community it has served for over 35 years,” according to a news release from the company.

In celebration of the opening, Stater Bros. Charities will be making donations to the Lake Elsinore Police Department for its Explorer Program, the Elsinore High School Band, and to the Lake Elsinore Library for its Children's Program.
Stater Bros. also operates two other supermarkets in Lake Elsinore at 16750 Lakeshore Drive and at 29995 Canyon Hills Road.
