Development Plans Emerge For Vacant Lot Near Diamond Stadium

During the 6 p.m. planning commission meeting scheduled Tuesday at the Senior Activities Center, the commissioners will review the proposed commercial design.

An application to construct a 4,342-square-foot office building on a vacant parcel near The Diamond Stadium will be considered this week by the Lake Elsinore Planning Commission.

The applicant, Hilla Gottlieb of Sherman Oaks, wants to build the single-story structure on a .42-acre parcel situated off Diamond Drive near Campbell Street, city documents show.

During the 6 p.m. planning commission meeting scheduled Tuesday at the Senior Activities Center, the commissioners will review the proposed commercial design that calls for six individual suites and a 75-square-foot utility room, according to city documents.

The property owner is Tamer Ibrahim of Northridge. According to city documents, the property is zoned commercial mixed use.

The public is invited to Tuesday’s meeting; the location is 420 E. Lakeshore Drive.
