EVMWD Selects New Director Of Operations

"I am looking forward to exciting, new opportunities and addressing new challenges that will test my abilities," said Brian Dickinson, the man selected to serve as EVMWD's director of operations.

The following is a news release from Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District:

 a provider of reliable, cost-effective, high quality water and wastewater services has selected Brian Dickinson to fill the position of Director of Operations.  Mr. Dickinson brings over twenty-two years of experience to the District and will oversee the water, wastewater, and maintenance divisions.

Brian has been with the Chino Desalter Authority as the Operations Manager for the past two years.  Prior to that, he served as General Manager of the Valley County Water District and the General Manager of Utilities at the City of Alhambra.  Mr. Dickinson has also served as the Assistant Director of Water Resources for the City of Lakewood and the Water Supply Superintendent for Golden State Water Company.  “Brian’s industry experience and collaborative skills are just what EVMWD is looking for,” said John Vega, EVMWD General Manager. “His vast water and wastewater operational knowledge will help ensure the continued success of EVMWD.”

Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and is fluent in Spanish.  He also has Water Treatment Operator Grade 5 and Water Distribution Operator Grade 5 certifications from the State of California.

Mr. Dickinson has been married for over twenty-two years to Silvia and they have two children.
