Jersey Mike's Subs To Open In Lake Elsinore

Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its Jersey Shore-style subs, will officially open its doors in Lake Elsinore on Aug. 14. 

The first Jersey Mike's opened at the Jersey Shore in 1956, and the new Lake Elsinore location at 31800 Grape Street is being opened by franchise owners Alexander and Tanya Ilic.

The pair will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, Aug. 14 to Sunday, Aug. 18, to support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest County. Ten-thousand coupons are being circulated throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the youth organization.

This is the first Jersey Mike’s location for the Ilics.

“After trying our first Jersey Mike’s sub we were hooked,” Alexander said. “It was the best sandwich Tanya and I ever had and we knew that we wanted to be a part of this business. For our grand opening, we have teamed up with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest County to help give back to local children. Our family is very excited for this opportunity to make a difference in the community and we hope everyone will join us when we open our doors on August 14.”

According to a news release from Jersey Mike’s, the fast-casual sub sandwich franchise has more than 750 locations open and under development nationwide.
