Lake Elsinore Candy Store Donating Fudge To Troops

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Lake Elsinore Outlets has just days left to support the "Fudge for Troops."

The following is a news release from Lake Elsinore's Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory:

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Lake Elsinore Outlets is running a “Fudge for Troops” campaign through the month of July to benefit our troops through Operation Gratitude.

From July 1st until July 31st, 2013 when customers purchase one pound of fudge in-store, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will donate one pound of fudge to Operation Gratitude, who will then send it to our service men and women overseas in individualized care packages. “Our troops give so much every day, we wanted to give something back, to let them know how much we appreciate all that they do,” commented Robert Schimming, owner of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store located at the Lake Elsinore Outlets.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a franchise, gourmet chocolate store specializing in handmade chocolates, caramel apples, dipped strawberries and specialty gifting. They help out the community through fundraisers and various donations throughout the year.

This is our 3rd annual Fudge for Troops Campaign. With the help of the community we were able to donate 100 pounds of fudge in 2011 and 150 pounds of fudge in 2012. We hope to donate over 200 pounds of fudge this year. Come enjoy a sweet experience and support our troops.
