Arrive with a big appetite.
That’s this weekend’s motto as a Food Truck Festival rolls into the Lake Elsinore Outlets, Dec. 1, from noon to 5 p.m.
The event featuring nearly two dozen gourmet food trucks is being organized by Cliff Young, an award-winning restaurateur and host of the “Out to Eat” series on PBS.
Scheduled to be on hand are the following food trucks: Bacon Mania, Bollywood Bites, Cambalache’s Gourmet, Chubby’s, The Gastrobus, M.O.E. Eggrolls and Deli, Mustache Mike’s Italian Ice, Oooh La La Crepes, Pearson’s Louisiana Cajun Food, Pierogi Truck, Ragin’ Cajun, SoCal New Orleans Style Sno Balls, Suite 106 Cupcakery, Two for the Road, Vizzi Visionary Cuisine, WTF (Where’s the Fire) Gourmet Pizza, Slap Yo Mama Soul Food, Calbi Fusion Tacos & Burritos, White Rabbit Original Filipino Fusion, Me So Hungry sliders and burgers, and Cousin’s Maine Lobster.
“This is not your typical food truck festival,” Young said. “This event will offer cutting-edge culinary flavors from chefs who want to take your palette on a journey you won't soon forget; you've got an unbelievable festival of haute cuisine you don’t want to miss.”
The event will take place in the Lake Elsinore Outlets North Parking Lot (adjacent to Fallas) and will include a DJ and a “bubble-roller" for the kids. Seating is limited and lightweight folding chairs are allowed.
Admission to the Food Truck Festival is $10, and free for children 6 and under.
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online at www.lakeelsinorefoodtruckfestival.com or at the door.
