Question of the Week: What is the difference between a film and a movie? And if there is a difference, what motion pictures would you classify as a film or a movie?

Background: This question is very split amongst the critics since others view the idea of movies and films differently. Since on the one hand, we have people saying there's no difference between a movie and a film. On the other hand, with have other critics stating that there is a huge difference between movies and films; films are supposed to inflict art and substance, while movies are supposed to provide entertainment. Any way you look at it both sides are niether right nor wrong.

Opinion: I believe more on that films exhibit art with metaphors and questions that keep you thinking to this day. While movies on the other hand give the audience more entertainment and excitement to make them feel good and happy. Since there is indeed a difference to both a movie and a film. What Motion Pictures would I classify as a film or a movie? For films to name a few, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Jacob's Ladder and Mulholland Drive. For movies, Die Hard, Any James Bond Film and etc.

Thank you viewers for reading my Question of the Week. If any have suggestions put it in the comment section and I might talk about next week.
