76 New Homes Proposed For Lake Elsinore's Summerly Development

There are four different floor plans being proposed, ranging in size from 2,182 square feet to 2,551 square feet.

Seventy-six new homes are proposed for construction in Lake Elsinore's Summerly Development, and the city’s planning commission will review the design details Tuesday night.  

Meritage Homes is the applicant seeking to build the single-family detached homes dubbed the “Meridan at Summerly.”  

Lots in the neighborhood range in size from 5,662 square feet to 11,325 square feet, with an average lot size of 6,430, and there are four different floor plans being proposed, ranging in size from 2,182 square feet to 2,551 square feet, city documents show.  

Home styles would include “Early California,” “European” and “Bunglow,” according to the documents.  

The proposal also calls for a model home complex off of Rawlings Way.  

The project would be bordered by Mission Trail and Malaga Road.  

Tuesday’s planning commission meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Lake Elsinore Senior Center located at 420 E. Lakeshore Drive. The public is encouraged to attend.
