Beauty Pageant, Fireworks, Opening Day On The Lake And More This Weekend

Sparkly lake water, beads, tiaras and fireworks rule this weekend. Also, less sparkly, but still delicious, sub sandwiches for a good cause.

Friday is upon us and it’s time to make plans for those precious weekend hours. The good news is, there is plenty to do. Check out our picks for this weekend’s fun activities to hit and places to explore.

Our goal is to make the Get Out planner as reliable as possible, but keep in mind, some events change at the last minute. We advise calling ahead just in case.

Among other adventures this weekend, you can hop in the boat, ooh and ah at sparkly fireworks and eat a foot-long sub for a good cause. Read on.

Why Go: Come watch the Storm play and enjoy a spectacular fireworks show after the game. If you are busy Friday, this Saturday is Century Night – they are trying to do 100 promotions in one night.

Why Go: To kick of boating season, the City of Lake Elsinore is waiving the typical $15 lake use fee on opening day. Ring in spring let the boating begin.
