Corona Still Looking To Become Lake Elsinore's Next-Door Neighbor

If approved, Temescal Valley would be annexed by the City of Corona.

Corona wants to annex 15.58 square miles of the unincorporated Temescal Valley, which would put the city of more than 155,000 people closer to Lake Elsinore's northern edge.

But media reports indicate a majority of Temescal Valley residents want no part of cityhood.

Patch first reported on the issue in July 2012.
