Earthquake Strikes Area

There were no immediate reports of damage or injury, according to a Riverside County Sheriff's Department dispatcher.

A magnitude-3.6 earthquake shook parts of Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange counties this morning.

The quake struck at 12:32 a.m. at a depth of six tenths of a mile, its epicenter five miles west of Glen Avon and 38 miles east of the Los Angeles Civic Center, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

Hundreds of people -- including in Riverside, Corona, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Yorba Linda and as far away as Anaheim -- reported on the USGS website having felt the temblor.
