Help Improve Lakeland Village

Interested in becoming involved in improving Lakeland Village and parts of Wildomar?

Attend the Aug. 24 Lakeland Village/Wildomar Project Area Committee (PAC) special meeting at 7 p.m. at Mission Trail Community Library and learn about the procedures and qualifications for becoming a PAC member.

The PAC is a volunteer-based committee, composed of community citizens, that advises the County of Riverside Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors on efforts to improve the Lakeland Village/Wildomar area otherwise known as the Lakeland Village/Wildomar Sub-Area of the 1-1986 Redevelopment Project Area.

The PAC is currently seeking two qualified candidates for appointment to fill vacancies. Candidates may be eligible for any of the following categories: residential owner-occupant, residential tenant, or business owner.

Applications for the positions are available at the special meeting, or at the County of Riverside Economic Development Agency (EDA) office located at 3403 10th Street, 5th Floor, Riverside, California. Applications are also available on the EDA website at www.rivcoeda.org or upon request via fax by calling 951.955.8916.

The EDA must receive all complete applications, along with supporting documents, no later than Sept. 7, 2011 by 5 p.m.

The final PAC Appointment Meeting will be held at the Mission Trail Library on Sept. 21, 2011 at 7 p.m.
