Lake Elsinore Crash Victims Expected To Survive

During the on scene investigation, a sheriff's sergeant reported a motorcyclist collided with a car occupied by three adults and one juvenile.

Victims of a serious crash in Lake Elsinore are expected to survive their injuries, a law enforcement official is reporting.

The collision reported May 20 at approximately 5:05 p.m. in the 31500 block of Casino Drive involved a motorcycle and a car, according to Sgt. Ken Chaffin of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.

The adult motorcyclist sustained “severe injury to his lower torso” during the crash and was subsequently transported to a local hospital, the sergeant reported.

“He is expected to recover from his injuries,” Chaffin said.

A man who was an occupant in the car complained of pain and was also transported to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment, according to the sergeant. There are no reports that his injuries were serious.

During the on scene investigation, Chaffin said it was determined the motorcyclist collided with the car that was occupied by three adults and one juvenile. There were no additional injuries reported.

“Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this incident. The investigation is ongoing,” Chaffin said.

The identities of the crash victims were not released.
