Magnitude 5.1 Earthquake Rattles Baja California, Shakes Southwest Riverside
The quake struck at 9:47 a.m. Friday and was centered about 115 miles east of Tijuana.
A 5.1 magnitude earthquake rumbled through Baja California Mexico this morning, and according to the USGS there are reports coming in that the temblor’s shaking was felt in Southwest Riverside.
The quake struck at 9:47 a.m. Friday and was centered about 115 miles east of Tijuana.
There are no press reports of injury or damage.

According to the USGS, weak shaking was felt as far north as San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties.
