The best USE to be Las Brasas until it became under new ownership providing cheaply made expensive bland food :( My daughter and husband miss it dearly lol

Don Jose's has always been a personal favorite of mine. However the best salsa around here isn't from a restaurant. It's from the Lake Elsinore market on Grand

Me and all my friends agree on Tacos Elsinore ...... Pastor and Carnitas are the greatest (Mondays and Thursdays 2 for 1.00!)

Is there a brand name on the salsa? So hard to find good salsa at a market. I'm hooked on La Salsa Chilena (Hot) available at Barons Market in Wildomar.

Don Panchos in Wildomar on Clinton Keith, add them and I'll vote! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Don-Panchos/233894283301222

Thank you Shelley! Don Pancho's was added -- new adds are at the bottom of the poll.

It/an editor chopped my comment in half. I was saying its at the Lake Elsinore Market on Grand and Ortega. It comes in mild ) no chili at all and hot (melt your intestines). It's probably the best salsa I've ever had and is a staple at our house. To answer your question, there is no label. They come in clear plastic containers, unmarked, and are at the back of the store in a fridge by the meat dept.

Tacos Elsinore...you must be talking about their 2 carne asada tacos for one dollar on Monday's. The Market over by Doggie Style has a 2 pound Carne asada special for 18 dollars comes with a 2 liter soday, beans, rice, sauce (green or red) and tortillias . Their Shrimp Ceviche is the best and their Sea food soups...no one does it better.

Where is Tacos Elsinore located?
Lubster April 17, 2012 at 05:21 PM
Tacos Elsinore 1 is at Grand and Corydon. Awesome food, great service and a screaming deal! Tacos Elsinore 2 opened a couple years ago and it's on Lakeshore past Machado. And... Wed. night taco night, hard shell tacos are great too!!! Yes, best salsa is at Ortega, and best chips are at La Mexicana Meat Market, near Stater Bros. at 4 corners... they sell homemade chips, plastic bag with twisty, no label... yummy!!
Roberto April 17, 2012 at 07:30 PM
The other Tacos Elsinore is on Lakeshore in the strip mall (opposite end of Circle K) before Machado. I''ve been to both,. same great deals.

I agree! They had AMAZING tacos and then they went to hell!
Heidi Golgart-Hastings Ward April 17, 2012 at 08:08 PM
LOVE their Sunday buffet!
Lubster April 17, 2012 at 08:11 PM
Notice in the article above you can click on the blue links and leave a review for your favorite restaurant (different than the circle you click on to vote.) Guadalajara's is also wonderful. I always get my Tecate on draft, they rub the rim with lime and dip it in salt, then add the lime to the rim :) It's a great treat once in awhile!
