Remember When Silly Putty Was All You Ever Wanted For Christmas?

Merry Christmas everyone!

What's under your Christmas Tree today?

The latest generation iPhone for your 15-year-old? A PlayStation 3 for junior? Or maybe a Kindle Fire HD Tablet for your third-grader?

Remember when toys and gifts were so much simpler and a lot less expensive?

If not, we've attached some vintage video clips to remind you. Hopefully the "old-fashioned" silliness will make you smile and maybe even inspire you to post a funny reflection.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I remember silly putty. But I sure don't remember only wanting it for Christmas. I liked the way you could mash it onto a comic and the comic would be copied onto the putty. Way ahead of Xerox, digital cameras etc.

I remember roller skates that adjusted to your shoes and were made of metal. You could take the skate apart and attach to a 2 X 4 for a skate board.

I remember playing with silly putty for hours, we would place it on the comic section and try to make a perfect imprint. Does anyone remember kiddles, I loved those dolls, and yes slinky's easy bake oven and spiro graph, wait I cant't forget light bright, and silly sand clay dough and lincon logs.
