Remembering 9/11: Albertsons Four Corners Hosting Special Guests

This weekend, shoppers at the will have the opportunity to donate toward this year’s Veteran’s Day Observance to be held Nov. 12 at the 43rd running of the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix.

From 1-6 p.m. throughout the Labor Day weekend, volunteers will be in front of the store accepting donations for the short observance, which will be held on the starting line of the legendary motorcycle race at

“We have a very conservative budget and rely on private donations along with hours of community service to conduct the ceremony in compliance with approvals on conditional use permits, special event permits, and memorandums of understanding with the City Staff, Council, Planning Commission, Sheriff’s Department and other domestic responding agencies,” according to a statement from the non-profit Lake Elsinore Veteran’s Day Observance committee.

The Lake Elsinore Grand Prix Veteran's Day Observance will honor veterans of all ages from all military branches.
