TRAVEL ADVISORY: Flash Flood Warning Issued Again

The National Weather Service is warning motorists not to drive into areas where water covers the roadway.

At 2:09 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for central Riverside County.

The warning is scheduled to remain in effect until 3:30 p.m.

Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall is causing flooding of small creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country roads along the banks of creeks, streams and other low-lying areas are subject to flooding. Runoff from the storms will move down the eastern foothills and move into the Coachella Valley.
