Where To Go For Tsunami Updates

According to weather reports, large waves could start hitting the California coast this morning.

The massive 8.9 earthquake that struck off Japan's coast today and triggered a devastating tsunami that has killed hundreds and left several hundreds more missing, has resulted in tsunami warnings across the Pacific, including the U.S. West Coast. 

As of 6:40 a.m. the National Weather Service said a tsunami advisory is in effect for Southern California up to Pt. Concepcion.

Tsunami warnings continue in effect for the coastal areas of California and Oregon from Pt. Concepcion up to the Oregon/Washington border.
