A low pressure system over Southern Nevada has prompted a wind advisory for the Inland Empire that will remain in effect until 2 p.m. today, the National Weather Service is reporting.

Areas of north to northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 50 mph and isolated gusts to 60 mph, are possible, according to the NWS.

“The winds will make driving difficult, especially for motorists with high profile vehicles. Watch for broken tree limbs and downed power lines,” the NWS reported.
