Got a habit? How about a burger habit?
The Habit Burger Grill announced their grand opening date is on 5/9/12 in Murrieta. This was a review that I was looking forward to. It seems like everywhere you look there is some kind of burger joint opening somewhere with a catchy name.
On Cinco de Mayo, the Habit Burger Grill announced free burgers & fries from 12-2PM. What a great opportunity for a burger review than when you are slammed and have hundreds of hungry moochers (including me) waiting outside and around the corner for a free meal!
As I stood there, all guests were greeted with menus and more noticeable were super friendly smiling employees. I could tell right away that this friendly attitude was imbedded in this company’s culture. I only hope it stays that way.
Waiting in line, tapping my foot to a catchy Rolling Stones song, I was surrounded by a very modern feel. From hardwood ceilings to huge pictures of Santa Barbara on the wall, we were off to a good start!
I ordered the BBQ Bacon Charburger with EVERYTHING and fries and a drink. With the place on fire and hungry customers waiting, my order was up in less than 10 minutes.
The burger was dripping wet! This was fantastic! The flavor of the char was immediate to my palate. The beef was cooked just right and the mesh of the crisp lettuce, tomatoes, caramelized onions, mayo and pickles with the toasted “just right” bun was absolutely stupid!
The menu was limited today, so I look forward to coming back to try their grilled sandwiches and cool shakes and malts. I always love a place that serves more than fries—these guys are doing onion rings and sweet potato fries as well.
So go ahead, take my advice and try this place. Established in 1969 in Santa Barbara CA, these guys have made a simple commitment to sell the best burgers where they believe “There is No Substitute for Quality!”
