GOT LOST GOING DOWN THE RIVER

A Funny thing happend, maybe not so funny, while searching for information on the Murrieta Creek (ditch) and the Master Drainage Plan for the Wildomar Area adopted in 1980 which is controlled by Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. When researching information on one of the parcels using the County of Riverside Land Information System (RCTLMA). The standard report for parcel number 380-070-024 which is located southeast of McVicar along the Murrieta Creek (ditch) one is given all of the pertinent information concerning this property such as the address of the owner, along with a Legal Description and which book it is recorded in. This takes one to Record of Survery RS68/25 which is the Survey Map for the boundaries of the Palm Springs Airport completed in 1981.They parcel next to it 380-070-023, northwest of the previous, takes one to Record of Survey 60/26 which is a neighborhood located near the intersection of Van Buren Blvd. and Magnolia Ave. in the city of Riverside.
For those interested the westside of this portion of the channel contains a trail between McVicar and Clinton Keith and is accessible to the public. Parking is a problem but it is a nice walk
