NOTHING LEARNED FROM LAST YEARS EMBARRASSMENT IN WILDOMAR

While looking over the extraneous information contained in the Oversight Committee’s agenda packet one can begin to understand how City Officials keep reliving the past.
They don’t learn from it.
First item one notices is the 3 different numbers given for the money collected at the Breakfast with Santa Event. You have $1594.00, $1624.00 and $1644.00. The number finally listed under the heading Measure Z  “Special Events Revenue” is $1594.00.
There are several problem with this number.
1. This event has nothing to do with Measure Z
2. This was a co sponsored event with the Wildomar Rotary Club for which the profits and expenses were to be split 50-50 meaning that only half of the income should be listed as City of Wildomar Special Events Revenue. Even if the Rotary Club donated their half to the City of Wildomar. If the Rotary Club did indeed donate their share to the City it should be listed as a donation from the Rotary Club.
3. The City of Wildomar claims to want to be a sustainable city while using Styrofoam cups and plates at this event. Shame on you Wildomar.
