"Thank You" to Open House Attendees!

My second open house at my District Office in Murrieta on July 11th was a great success!  We almost doubled attendance from my first Open House back in January with almost 120 constituents in attendance.  I would like to thank all those who came out on a hot summer’s evening to meet and greet myself and my staff.

We were delighted to see some old familiar faces, but we especially enjoyed getting acquainted with those we had never met before.   Many in attendance picked up our informative brochures on topics such as Identity Theft, Home Fire Safety, Keeping Kids Safe, Keeping Seniors Safe, Neighborhood Watch, Veteran’s Resources, etc.   If you missed the Open House, you don’t have to wait for the next one to obtain any or all of these brochures—they are available at my District Office any time.

We are already making plans for a fall Open House in the month of November.  It’s likely to be in another location since the office was bulging at the seams on the 11th!  Watch for details in the coming months, or better yet, sign up for my newsletter at www.assembly.ca.gov/melendez to get the latest news from Sacramento and the District.
