Lake Elsinore Couple's Son Killed In Massachusetts Party Bus Mishap

Thomas Johnson, 31, of Gardner, Mass., was killed after he fell out of a bathroom window of a moving bus Saturday night.

A Lake Elsinore couple is grieving after learning that their son was killed in a bus mishap in Massachusetts.

Thomas Johnson, 31, of Gardner, Mass., was killed after he fell out of a bathroom window of a moving bus Saturday night.

Thomas is the son of Lake Elsinore resident Katherine Roza.

Martin Roza, Thomas’s stepfather, told the Associated Press, "He was the most likeable and amicable person in the family. He was a good looking guy, a lady killer, we always said he should come out here and make it in Hollywood.”

According to police reports, a state police trooper found Johnson and Seth Davis, 34, of Winchendon, Mass., on Route 2 in Shirley, Mass., with extensive injuries. Johnson died on the scene and Davis was transported to a hospital.

Police are investigating how the two men fell out of the bus window.

The bus, which is operated by Colonial Tours, was heading back to Gardner in central Massachusetts from a tour of New Hampshire brew pubs. Approximately 55 people were onboard, according to reports, many of them friends of Johnson and Davis.

According to the Associated Press, Johnson was a Michigan native who moved to Massachusetts nearly a decade ago. He lived with his girlfriend and ran his own tiling business.
