Another person has been killed in this area due to a possible DUI related accident. I just moved to the area a little over a year ago and that is at least the 5th death caused by drinking and driving. This is unacceptable!
As conservative as my political views may be, I cant help but hope that every car will have a breathalyzer installed in the near future. I understand that the technology is not efficient enough yet, but it will be soon.
Last year there were over 30,000 people killed in accidents due to drinking and driving. That is almost 3x more than gun violence crimes. This technology would immediately save 30,000 lives.
Paraphrasing Obama, "..If we can save just one life by making this change, we must do it.."
I know people will argue that this is against our rights, but think of the peace of mind you will have knowing it is impossible for anyone to drive drunk.
