Riverside Dr Accident

Another accident on Riverside Dr between Collier and Gunnerson. Small car versus a 18 wheeler truck. When is someone going to do something to provide more safe streets for us? If this was a four lane highway could this accident have been prevented? Not to mention what it does to anyone that is driving in this area. The Police Officer was calmly sitting in her car at Gunnerson & Riverside Dr, she was not out directing traffic or helping. This accident caused traffic snarls all over town because this is a main artery from Central to four corners. Not to mention that everyone getting off the Ortega and heading up Riverside Dr to this area had no idea what they were going to come up on. I think a petiton to the County, City and CalTrans is in order, there is no reason that any of us should have to be subjected to unsafe road conditions to drive on.  I hope all involved are OK but by the looks of it I would say probably not.
