Smelly water from faucets in Wildomar?

Has anyone noticed their faucet water in the house is smelly?  Mine has an odor lately that smells like a dirty fish bowl!  I'm afraid to drink it and only use bottle of filtered water.  I've just noticed this the past week.  Could it have something to do with the water pipe being replaced in Wildomar?  Just wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

It must be their policy to say “it’s fine”,… as when the guy was here, he agreed it smelt bad, and with white foam pouring out into the street, he also said… “it’s fine”… sounds like the party line.

Not to worry. This is just a test run on that new plan EVMWD has for recycleing Toilet water into drinking water. That musty mildow smell you have noticed is from some spoiled hamburger I ate and flushed down the recycle tube last week. Actually it smelled a lot worse before it was processed by my large bowel and deposited in porcelain throne. So see that recycling of the toilet water is working. They just need to add a little more deoderising chemical and you won't be able to tell what your neighbors have been eating.

I have been smelling the odor in the water for over a month. I'm off of Orange and Bundy Canyon. I know I received my bill and paid it, but I never got a notice on the upgrade to the smell. Are we going to be charged a fee for this upgrade also or will we get charged for not using enough water because we don't care for their selected odor?

@ Ken - Thank you!! You made me laugh out loud reading your comment. The water districts have been recycling water from toilet to tap for a number of years. In Orange County, school kids go on field trips to the water district. The representative from the water district drinks a glass of this water in front of them and then they get the tour that allows them to understand how sewer water is made clean enough to drink!! I'm not kidding. When I was on the Wildomar City Council and the representative for the oddly- named Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), one of the presentations to the subcommittee I was on talked about utilizing a slide presentation to make his point.
